Canon is producing very good printers, in both laser printer and ink printer. Most popular Canon laser beam printers are the entry level monochrome printer. Below are the 3 generations of Canon laser printers. Each generation got its own toner model.

When choose the printer, many customers focus on the price of consumable only. The cheaper toner cartridge doesn’t always mean cheaper on printing cost. Below is the simple calculation of Cost Per Page (CPP).

CPP = Toner Price / Page yield

Although RRP of Cartridge 312 & 325 is cheaper than Cartridge 303, the CPP is actually up about 23% compare to Cartridge 303.
